SF Sequoia nursing program fall 2017

There is no post I've seen here about SF Sequoia nursing program for Fall 2017. I am wondering if there are applicants who already heard from SF Sequoia nursing department?

Why did you guys pick SFSU Sequoia over others? I like the convenience. I live closer to main campus, but I do not want to deal with parking around State.

I live closer to the Sequoia program and I like that it is a bit of a shorter program than most.

I have questions for you:

1. Anyone who was offered a financial aid loan?

2. How do you know that when you click accept the offer in the gateway page that it really went through? I mean, after I accept the offer my page doesn't show the word "ACCEPTED" or a green checkmark anywhere.

2. Not sure, except now there's not an option to accept or decline on my page. The email says we should receive a formal letter in the mail soon. Did you email your BSN response form? That should hold your place in the nursing program which is the most important I think

1.) I was offered a financial aid loan.

2.) I accepted my alternate major. As soon I accepted, I received a thank you message then it sent me an acceptance confirmation page. I did not receive an email confirmation. I do not see "ACCEPTED" or a green checkmark anywhere. SON said that they will change my major to Nursing at a later date.

I chose the program because I live 5-10 minutes away from both Canada College and Sequoia hospital. Can't beat that commute! Just curious, is anyone else a second bacc?

Hey everyone! I forgot to jump on here and update once I received my acceptance into the program. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone at orientation this July!
