Seton Austin TX RN Residency July 2018

Published

Looking to hear from anyone who has applied to the RN Residency program! Have you heard anything from Seton regarding this program?

Great to hear! I just got hired in their residency program at south Austin medical center

Wondering if anyone has heard from Seton for the pediatric residency. I talked to a recruiter and they said interviews wouldn't be until the end of April beginning of May. That just seems late since the cohort starts in July.

I couldn't find a St. David's thread, so I thought I would ask here! Has anyone accepted a job at St. David's North Austin for the graduate nurse residency?

I interviewed with Dell, but they told me they wouldn't have an answer or know anything for at least a month. I hope this helps!

@nursegirl1996 Congrats on your interview! Do you know if everyone was contacted for Dell interviews already? I haven't heard of anyone else. Also, when did they contact you?

I interviewed with Dell too and was told the same thing. That I wouldn't here back for about a month.

I got the residency in South Austin medical center but not north.

I interviewed with Dell, but they told me they wouldn't have an answer or know anything for at least a month. I hope this helps!

Congrats on the interview! What position at Dell was it for?

I interviewed with Dell children's ER.

Hello, does anyone know how to go about contacting a nurse recruiter for Seton or Dell Seton? The only number listed is the (855) area code number which routes you to a center in Wisconsin that gave me incorrect information about the residency program. I am trying to speak with a recruiter directly about my applications and live out of state. I have applied to both of the hospitals and have heard nothing back. Anyone have any advice? I realllllly appreciate it.

@nena5123 Thats awesome!! How was your interview for Dell Childrens ER??? I have it coming up this week, anything you can tell me about it?? Any tips?? Have you heard back!?

Good luck on the interview. I haven't heard back from pedi ER; I was told the it would be about a month before I heard back. At that time they still had a bunch of interviews before deciding. You will meet the recruiter near the security office then she will walk you to the ER. There was 3 ppl interviewing me; a day manager, night manager and a nurse supervisor. They were all very nice. The position is for nights only. They each take turns asking questions. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What would you do if you had a bad co worker? What is the most stressful situation you had during clinicals and how did you handle it. Why pedi? Why should we pick you? What are your hobbies? Questions about pass work experience. Sorry I don't remember all the question. After all the question you get to ask your questions then you get a tour of the ER. Hope this helps some.
