I know bachelor in nursing takes 4 years and associates takes 2.Not positive I want to be a nurse so Wouldlnt it be safer to get associates first then a bachelors. im assuming associates is easier to get, and would serve as a safety degree just in case I don't pass or not committed to four year bachelors.
take all the pre req classes at a community college (way cheaper !) like biology, microbiology, anatomy 1/2, chemistry, history, english etc.
then apply to complete your bachelors and get the bsn at 4 years colleges . more jobs are bsn preferred ...the trend is employers wanting you to have a 4 year nursing degree.

There are an increasing amount of hospitals "phasing out" nurses with associate degrees, meaning employers want you to already have a bachelors degree or go back to school for one. I understand your hesitation, but heading on the bachelors path will be more beneficial to you whether you decide to be a nurse or not.
