I'm entering my senior year and high school this year and my letter of intent for my senior project is due soon! I go to a vocational school to get my cna certification and am entering my second year of that as well. I have worked in a clinical setting in a nursing home for the past school year and am very good with the course. I would like to relate my project to nursing but I'm not sure exactly what I am able to do! I would like to volunteer somewhere or something along those lines! Any ideas?? I live in new York state if that makes any difference

Because each school's requirements are different, you may want to ask one of your teachers to ensure that anything you do will meet the requirements.
That being said, I work with some people who are continuing their education, and have a service requirement to complete. Some are volunteering at hospice, one is volunteering at a teen mother shelter, and a couple other are volunteering at nursing homes.
You may not be able to relate it very closely to nursing as there are liabilities to consider for the facility- most of what the volunteers are doing that I work with is things like baking snacks, driving to and from appointments, things like that.
