Senior Nursing Student wants to take a team of nursing students to Haiti or DR

Hi everyone,

Can anyone give me any advice on getting a team of nursing students together to do a short term service outreach. I am working with my school to try to organize something. Unfortunately, if I cant mobilize any faculty willing to go I dont know how we could be of much help without a RN. Does anyone having and advice on organizing or would you be interested in participating in a team? I have been to Haiti 2x before . I am non traditional student but am willing to mobilize the younger students if they want to go. Any advice, input or direction is much appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!

go with an established group. Heading to Haiti on your own is not what you want (trust me on that).

I graduated last may and have not found a job yet. I'm in the Philadelphia area and was interested in going to Haiti to help out. I am not the type of person who usually steps out and does this alone so I was curious if there is anyone else in my area who was interested in going, or at least helping out in some way?

Im a senior nursing student myself and am very interested in a volunteer opportunity. I have looked in many websites and most recquire Physicians and experienced RNs. LindseyGeneJellyBean I'm also in PA and an hr from Philly if you do find something or hear of a group of people can you please PM me, I would really appreciate it.
