Seminole State UCF Concurrent Summer 2021

Published

It's looking lonely for a SCC/UCF Summer 2021 thread and it's getting close to decision time! I was wondering who all else applied for this years Summer program?  Last year, it was near the end of the month (2/28) so I'm just waiting for my UCF status to go eligible beforehand.

If you're brave maybe, what were your stats?

Good luck everyone!

So, feeling more alone LOL

Today, my UCF RN app status changed to "eligible".  From past years, it seemed that about a week from that status change were application decisions!

Hi love! I’ve never used this before but I always read past threads and saw that no one was replying to you so I made one so that I can tell you about myself LOL
I also just switched from under review to eligible!

my starts are pretty average & if I can remember correctly off of the top of my head I have a 3.1 GPA with a recalculated 3.2 GPA and a 78.7 TEAS score.

I applied for Spring and didn’t get in but my friend who had very very similar stats got in. So I’m sure it was just because there was way more people applying than there were previous terms. I think I might have a chance this time around.

Aww thanks haha.  I know in previous years, it was about a week from going eligible on myucf... so maybe today?

I check like everyday.. A million times a day LOL

Summer is a great semester to apply because for some reason Fall is super competitive!

Best of luck to us!  I'm also gonna try and apply for the Valencia/UCF Concurrent program too when that application opens up.

I just got the email that I was invited to the program at 1:21pm. So grateful! I don't usually comment on here because I am so afraid to share my stats LOL

But if I did get in I told myself I would share my stats to give hope for anyone else who didn't get in, and wants to reapply, or who wants to apply in the future.

I was struggling to get a 3.00 GPA last Spring. Within a year I had to retake some of my pre-req like Anatomy and Microbiology. I was told by a nursing counselor that I had a low chance to get in. It seemed like all odds were against me, but I decided to persevere, I kept going, and I learned how I best study.

I ended my undergrad GPA with a 3.1. I studied hard for about two months straight for the TEAS, and I got an 89.

Congrats to everyone that got in!! Regardless if you didn't though, keep going! You can do it!! We will all be great nurses one day :D

OMG! Congratulations!  Never let anyone tell you what you can or can't do.  I actually missed my final exam for AP1 and had to retake it.  I wanted to give up because I thought to myself, "If I can't even be bothered to show up for a final, then how the heck am I going to get into nursing school ?"

I happy you proved your advisor wrong!

Thank youuu! Totally agree with youuu, we are all so capable of more than we even know! And dang that stinks that happened with your final, but glad you got through it ?

Is there a facebook group for this class?

I don't think so. I was also hoping to also join a facebook group because I am possibly looking for roommates around the Altamonte area.

Hey guys, I’m applying to Ssc/ucf for fall and I’m sooo excited! I’m nervous though because I was denied from ucf BSN and ABSN already and this was suppose to be my backup!! I was wondering if you guys can share your scores so I can see where I stand! Right now, I have a 3.5 overall, 3.6 prereq, 84.7 TEAS!
