Please is there anybody who is currently attending Seminole Community College or recently graduated?

Thanks for the reply. I have been off this site for a while now due to some circumstance at my end. Anyway,I have been admitted as a pre-nursing student at Seminole Community College. I will be starting this fall. The courses I will be taking are BIO 1010c and PSY2012. I believe that u have taken these courses. What advise do you have for me about them? Moreover can u give me more information into the program. What GPA will give you an assurance that u will be accepted into the program. Please advise me more on the program.

As far as the classes you are taking right now...I would say check into your instructors to see how they operate, it could make all the difference in the world. Hint that "rate my professors" site.

Also, have you already gone to the info session for the nursing program? It's very important that you go and get an application right before you apply for the program, because they change the application every year and will not accept and outdated app.

Lastly, the GPA requirement is fairly easy to meet. They first look at if all prereq's are completed, then GPA. So, if you have all your prereq's done and you have a 3.0, you'll be accepted over someone with a 4.0 with a science still out. So, try to get all those prereq's done and try to apply for early acceptance. You'll get an answer before the rest of the people will even be allow to apply.

Another hint: Ask about RN-BSN concurrent program.

Good Luck!! Feel free to ask anything else.

Thanks for the useful information. I do visit the college once in a while in the evening to look around and see if I can see some nursing students to obtain their views about the program but I was unsuccesful. At the moment, I just choose two courses for fall which is BIO 1010c and PSY 2012. I just choose my professors without any clue on which professor I should take his class. Moreover as for the AS-BSN program,I will definitely take that option although I didnt fill it out on the application I submitted to the school. How do I find rate my professors site.can u please copy and paste it for me. How do u see this courses I will be taking and how to I go about them.I desperately need to make A's in my course. Thanks a lot for everything.

Here's the site: http://ratemyprofessors.com/index.jsp. The classes you are taking are not difficult classes as long as you have good instructors, what ever you don't try not to get Maznicki as you Bio instructor. She is very good, but she will make you work for a C.

As far as the RN-BSN concurrent program, you didn't have to put it on an application when you started with the college, so don't worry about that. Make sure you go to the nursing info session, because that is where you will be the info you need about. Otherwise, the SCC counselors will advise you in the wrong direction, they hardly know about it.

Good Luck again!!!

Thanks a lot for this useful information. You are a life saver. I have browsed the website(rate my professor). The lecturer I choose for my biology class was poorly rated there. I choose The classes I will love to to switch to is already full. I previously choose Shelley Patterson but I will love to change to Mr. Bludge.I really dont know if it is posiible to still join a class that is already full. What do you have to say about this?

Check early in the morning everyday, around 8 am. This is the time people get dropped for non-payment. I'm sure if you are diligent (sp) you will get the class you want.
