I'm on my last semester of the online transition program and you'll go to a variety of places...Florida Hospital Orlando, Altamonte, Central Florida Regional, and South Seminole. I went to SCC for my LPN and now my RN, and these are the only places I'm aware that they are contracted to do clinicals in.
I don't know about when you would do clinicals...I would only guess it may be at night. But then again, the school typically won't give info out till the last second. They'll put you when and wherever they can get a spot that's free of other nursing students.
hello. does anybody know when the clinicals for the night classes at seminole community college are? is it on the weekends, and where? :nuke: thanks.
at the nursing orientation they mentioned the clinicals for the night program are in the evenings and weekends. however as the other poster where and what time depends on the availability of the location. they mentioned that evening clinicals can start as early as 3:30 until midnight. i will also be appying to scc evening program. good luck!
The coming summer term clinical times are Sat and Sun 6:45a - 5:15p with evening classes M-Th.
Wow- am I reading this correctly, Sat & Sun, clinicals all day and then Mon thur Thurs evening classes which means you only have 1 day off. I nearly passed out when I read this. I am a single mother who works full time during the day, Monday - Friday. I won't have time for anything. I have a year before I am ready so I guess I better get all the sleep I can now.
