Selected as an alternate for LVN to RN

Hi!

I was selected as an alternate at Rio Hondo for the LVN-RN program. Is there any hope of being actually selected? Hoping for some success stories ?  I am still required to participate in the meeting and purchase uniforms as if I was actually joining the program.
