Hi everyone!
I am a Family NP student at a school in Boston, and I am scheduled to begin my clinical rotations at the end of this month. Unfortunately, I have had no luck finding a preceptor, and the preceptor that my school found decided that she no longer wanted to host a student. My school is still "looking" for someone to pair me with, but with only a few weeks to go, I'm not sure they will find anyone.
For the last few months, I have been calling local primary care offices, reaching out to NPs on LinkedIn, and posting in NP groups on facebook, but so far I haven't had any luck finding someone willing to take on a student. I'm feeling really discouraged and don't know what to do at this point.
I wanted to post on here to see if anyone had any connections to NPs (or MDs/PAs) who might be willing to precept a student, or if anyone has any advice on where/how to look. I'm located 20 miles south of Boston, but willing to travel! I need to do approximately 16 hours per week (two 8-hour shifts) in either family medicine, women's health, or pediatrics.
Thanks so much in advance!

Yikes. So what do you do if you can't find a preceptor? Is that just all of your schooling down the toilet?
