Hi everyone,
I worked on my resume yesterday and wondering if it all looks ok, as far as content and formatting. I'm also trying to write a better cover letter and looking for any kind of feedback. If anyone would like to swap resumes and cover letters, maybe we can help each other. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Dear Recruiter,
Upon hearing about the New Grad RN program, I was excited and interested about starting my nursing career at a highly-regarded, prestigious medical facility such as Hospital Medical Center. My values and beliefs match Hospital Medical Center's mission statement of providing exceptional care every day with warmth, pride, and friendliness. Also, I always use the most current evidence-based practices in order to go above and beyond the high standards of nursing. I meet the preferred skills and believe I am the best match for the offered program.
Throughout nursing school, I have succeeded in safely administering patients' medications via intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous, and oral routes. I have mastered point-of-care testing of patients' blood glucose levels before meals, monitoring of vital signs every four hours, and thorough documentation of patients' medical information in Cerner charting software and bedside flow sheets. By experiencing a nursing internship, I have learned to prioritize patient care tasks relevant to the patients' needs, to develop assertiveness when dealing with patients' physicians, and to develop time management skills. I am a diligent hard-worker who strives to keep patient safety and privacy first and foremost in mind when providing patient care.
Upon review of my resume, I will call your office regarding my status of the program. If needed, I will be available for an interview during the day. I am looking forward to meeting with you. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
