I am most excited to about planting the sweet Leysa Pepper and my free gift of the Japanese Wasabi Radish. I am also planting greens, spinach, kale, and swish chard today. I will order some more seeds after the Baker Creek 2022 catalog comes in. If you have grown any of these varieties please share your experience.

Where do you live that you can plant like that in October? I'm in So Cal but the nights are getting too cold for outdoor growing and the greenhouse is taken up with the orchids.

I live in Texas, zone 9a. I haven't gardened in over 5 years because had abandoned it when I decided to go back to school. Now that I finished school I am getting back to gardening for hobby. I envy people with green houses, but maybe next year I will buy small one. For now I am experimenting with getting back to my love of gardening in zone 9a.
I also forgot to mention that I sometimes cover the plants with toole on colder nights in the 40's F. I just found Frost Shield 6' x 50' roll at Lowes that I plan to use when temperatures drop into the 30's F.
