i, as well as many of my classmates, had a difficult time getting back into the swing of things almost every semester. it's nice to have the time off and it is needed by all means, but once you kinda know what you're facing it gets harder to get into it after a break, at least it felt that way for me. also, your class now realizes there is a road ahead and it can be very intimidating at times, people become sleep deprived and it's harder to be nicey nice all the time. fortunately, my class was rather close and we all tried to help each other out, because as you've probably already realized unless you've trudged through the program you cannot truly understand what it is like. hang in there, it'll get better!

Has anyone noticed or gone through this?
I am in the 2nd semester of a 5 semester BSN program. We have all just returned from Christmas break and it seems as though no one is quite the same as last semester. People seem more edgey, grumpy, and rude. I don't know if the "newness" of nursing school has dwindled and/or the heavier work load this semester has people upset. I miss the smiles and comraderie that was present last semester. It seems that we all need each other more than ever; instead, there seems to be divisive tension.
Any ideas?
