I'm starting this topic for those who are applying to 2nd-entry programs, to start in 2014.
A bit about myself:
I'll be applying to University of Ottawa and University of Toronto.
Graduated with a Social Science degree from Ottawa U w/ 7.2 CGPA (aka 3.33 on 4.0 scale, or a B+)
A lot of community involvement in health promotion, youth counseling programs, women's health research..
Currently taking the prerequisites...
I'm kind of nervous about the applications because I know how competitive these programs are... Any advice from current 2-year BScN students would be great!
Morning everyone! I've been accepted at Western and will be accepting my acceptance. This means I will be opening up a spot at McMaster and Toronto for those of you who are still waiting to hear. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear and can't wait to meet my fellow classmates at Western this coming fall!
I don't know if we can call and find out where we are on the waiting list? Does anyone know? Or at least around how many people they have on this list?
Congrats to those accepted at Western! For those on the waitlist, do you mind sharing your GPA for last 2 years? :) I was only just able to send in my grades from my final term yesterday as they just became finalized, so just trying to get an idea for next round. Fingers crossed!

I also got wait listed at western . I have an 83.2 average and am currently finishing up an anatomy course as a prereq. I accepted my offer at u of t but western is my top choice. does anyone know how long it will take to find out?
its my average from my last 10.0 credits I believe. I have finished my bachelors degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and am currently finishing my Masters degree. I have taken some courses while completing my degree so they factor into my average.
I've recently compared the curriculum between York and Western university programs. I've determined that there are little differences here and there. I've also considered the duration of each program. I'm wondering if anyone else is comparing the two university programs or has a few things in mind that sways you to one school more than the other.
