I'm from new york and I have my BS in Biology with a 2.68 GPA. But, my nursing pre-requisites are all A's and one B-. I'm having trouble finding schools that'll accept me as an accelerated nursing student as almost all schools write that they prefer a 3.0 and average GPA of students accepted is 3.5 etc.
I started off as a 4 year BSN student but stupidly changed my major to Biology and now find myself desperately wanting back in. IF someone could please help me find schools in NY-NJ-CT-PA area, that will accept my 2.68 and see my high grades in the pre-requisites. I do have amazing letters of recommendations lined up as well! I am open to all schools, private/public..although I know private schools are slightly easier to get into. Any information at all would be of so much help!

I have heard that some schools in NYC (both public and private) do not care about your undergrad GPA as long as you have any degree as a requirement. I may be wrong so do not quote me on that. But do check it out.

Do verify that they are in fact referring to overall undergraduate GPA or if they are just referring to your nursing prerequisite GPA. I was under the impression that most schools do not care about the cumulative undergrad GPA as well.
Best of luck, friend!
Thank you!
And yes, almost all schools write "bachelors degree with a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 out 4.0" along those lines..
