I had a 2.6. GPA. I didn't even bother with accelerated programs as they are generally way too competitive, even if you meet the minimum requirements (which I did not). Instead, I found a community college that only considered my prerequisite GPA. It was 3 semesters to finish the ADN. Then, I went to WGU for its RN-to-BSN program, which I finished in 4 months. Total cost: less than $10k. Plus, I was able to work FT through the whole thing, so no loans were needed.

I'm from new york and I have my BS in Biology with a 2.68 GPA. But, my nursing pre-requisites are all A's and one B-. I'm having trouble finding schools that'll accept me as an accelerated nursing student as almost all schools write that they prefer a 3.0 and average GPA of students accepted is 3.5 etc.
I started off as a 4 year BSN student but stupidly changed my major to Biology and now find myself desperately wanting back in. IF someone could please help me find schools in NY-NJ-CT-PA area, that will accept my 2.68 and see my high grades in the pre-requisites. I do have amazing letters of recommendations lined up as well! I am open to all schools, private/public..although I know private schools are slightly easier to get into. Any information at all would be of so much help!
