Is the radio silence from Seattle U driving anybody else crazy? Apparently I'm not so good at being patient.

There has been a little bit of info on the Facebook group "Seattle University APNI Applicants". It is a closed group for people who are applying and they will add you if you request membership. Apparently they will be starting to contact people today!

It founds like FNP will be first and there is not too much info about other specialties. What specialty did you apply to?

Hopefully you won't have to be patient much longer! Rumor has it that the first round of interview invites will come out around 6pm this evening...

Thanks for the tip about the Facebook group. I'm the last human being not on Facebook but perhaps i should cave in and join if I'm missing out on some good info. Oh, and I applied for the FNP track.

Hey everyone,

I know that many of you are probably checking emails constantly today as it was the date the CON set as the beginning of interview notifications. I realize that the anxiety level for some of you is intense so here is some info that was passed along today.

Interviews announcements will likely start going out Monday if all things go according to plan. There was a delay in getting the process started today.

FNPs may take slightly longer. Although I don't know application numbers for all of the tracks, there were over 200 qualified applicants for the FNP.

Although it is easier said than done, please engage in some self-care this weekend.

Hello everyone and Happy Monday. Todd and I went to talk to admin just now and we have an update. First, they are currently compiling the list for Adult-Gero, Psych, and Community to be sent out. Those notifications should go out this afternoon - if all goes according to plan. Midwifery and FNP applicant score sheets are not quite ready but they are working on them feverishly. It sounded like those wouldn't be too far behind (although I would be surprised if midwifery and FNP invites went out today). They are aware that they are running behind and are working to get things done.

As for interview protocols, they also mentioned (like last year) that they would not entertain changing the assigned interview time for those who are invited. There are too many moving parts and the logistics to accommodate changes. So, for the sake of the sanity of the people working on this, I would advise not making requests to change interview slots.

As for selection process, all applicants have received a score based on the qualifications (GPA, personal statement, GRE, etc.). Those scores have been populated into a spreadsheet and a total numeric score has been assigned to each applicant.

I hope this information helps a bit. Keep us posted on when you start receiving your notifications.
