Hello everyone, I need some advice. I live in Washington State and got accepted into Seattle University's School of Nursing (BSN), and Highline Community College's nursing program (ADN). I am still waiting to hear back from Bellevue College. If I get into Bellevue College as well, which program do you think I should do if I were to receive no financial aid? And how do the above programs rank?
Thank you in advance :)

Wow congratulations!
I'd give anything to be in your position right now :) I too applied to Bellevue and Seattle U but I didn't get into Seattle U and I am also currently waiting on Bellevue. I read from your post that you're not receiving financial aid. Have you talked to the Financial aid department at Seattle U? If you let them know that one of the biggest reasons why you can't attend their school is because of lack of funding, they might try to work with you to find a scholarship or find an alternative financial aid program that you can sign up for in order for you to attend their program. My cousin was a graduate of SU (class of '08) and she took out a private loan to cover the rest of what her financial aid did not cover.
Anyway, it might be worth it to also just wait for Bellevue's reply, since I heard that we are supposed to hear back from them soon and then make your decision then when you have all of your options available to you.
Good luck!

I would go the BSN route. I went ADN and if I had to do it over again would have gone the other way. It would have taken a little longer, but it would be worth it. (If you add up the time it takes for pre-reqs and co-reqs for ADN it takes 3 years or more total)
Having a BSN will give you many more options career wise.

FYI Bellevue is planning to open up a BSN extension for ADNs. so even if you want a BSN, dont rule them out. The difference would be that you can work as an RN during your last year. I go there and rumor is they are thinking of opening it in 2013. Bellevue is also really affordable. It costs about 1200/ quarter for tuition. i got a scholarship through the school so i only pay 600/quarter.
congrats on all of your acceptances!
