I haven't see anything on Seattle U's BSN program, has anyone applied ? I am waiting to hear back from them, not sure if its this month or next or even April.:confused:

I had one prerequisite left to take at the time of application, and it was statistics. I think it helps to get all your sciences out of the way first. I also had a B.A. as well. Ultimately, I think my previous degree limited me financially (as a postbacc) because I didn't receive much aid from Seattle U...so I'll be attending UW instead. I think I would have really liked Seattle U. The location and campus are nice and I like the curriculum plan too.

Best of luck to all who are going there in the fall!

J450n - when did you receive your financial aid award letter? I am still waiting to hear something from student financial services, and while I know I'm going to attend SU, it would be nice to know exactly how much debt I'm going to be in after the program is over! :chair: Congrats to getting into both SU and UW - that's a pretty sweet accomplishment in and of itself!

I think I got it around the week of April 19th or maybe a few days later. It might have been the same day that I made my last post on this thread. I also received an email telling me to log into SU Online and check out the aid that they awarded me. There should be a link to see your financial aid status, if I remember correctly.

Thanks so much for the congrats! I wish you the best at SU. I'm taking organic chem right now for UW, it's my last prerequisite and I'm kinda kicking myself sometimes because SU didn't require it. Chemistry is absolutely the bane of my existence.

Oh man, then it really is late getting to me. I've tried checking at SU online, but it still says that my award information "isn't available online." Maybe that means there are just too many numbers to add up on that award... :lol2: (unlikely, but one can hope!). Best of luck in O-chem. I took it even though SU didn't need it because so many other schools required it. You'll make it, and I'm told it will put you ahead of the game in understanding pharmacology.

I would contact the financial aid office. Maybe it was an easy decision for them to see what type of aid I was eligible for because all I got was federal subsidized and unsubsidized loans, which maxed out to 12,500 per year. That would have meant that I would have needed to take out at least 17,000ish in private loans each year just to pay the tuition. :uhoh3:

First off, congrats to those of you accepted to Seattle U! I was just stopping by to see if anyone had been waitlisted. If so, have you heard anything yet? Best wishes to all! -seattlerainsun
