Seattle Children's Nursing Residency Program February 2025

Hi I wanted to create a thread for the Seattle Children's residency program in February. I know there were issues with the application at first and I submitted right after it got fixed, got my phone screening invite the same day.

 

Just wanted to see where everyone's at and any advice! It's my first time applying and I'm in California but I graduated from wsu's program this past may.

Hi! I submitted my application yesterday and still says in progress. Quick question! I noticed that there wasn't a section to add a cover letter? Did you guys attach one? Or just the resume was required? thank you!

I believe just the resume was required, but personally I submitted both as a combined document, but I know others just submitted the resume and used the application questions to give more detail. I don't think it will affect your application since it wasn't clearly stated as a requirement. Good luck!

Got it , thank you!! Hopefully it didn't matter and I get the phone screening invite soon! Still waiting on it :) Good luck to you too!!

I'm worried because some people already received the phone screening. Does anyone know if that's a bad sign not to receive the phone screen right away? I applied Friday after the application opened and haven't heard back:/

I haven't heard back either. I also applied last Friday after the application opened. I'm hoping that they are just screening people whose resume they like as they go.

Anyone get an update? I also applied early and havent heard anything. I wonder how many peoople already got interviewed since it says they start the interviews so fast

Unfortunately I got the rejection email yesterday 😭 I am so bummed but best of luck to all who are still waiting!

Did you receive the phone screen at all? I had my phone screen but am wondering how long in between if you get an interview or not. I wasn't sure if they send rejection emails or you just never hear back. Definitely apply again for next cohort! I might have to do the same
