I applied to the acute care units the day the application opened and got an email last night to set up a phone screen with a recruiter next week. Don't give up hope! Hopefully the acute care units are just slowly starting to role out interviews.

hey girl! hope you're well! not sure if you're still active on this but -- I've been scavenging the allnurses forums to find what is discussed in the recruiter phone screen for SCH as mine is coming up -- just wondering if you remember anything/have any advice for me in terms of prepping for it? thank you in advance - I truly do appreciate it!

Hi! Quick question. How did the recruiter reach out to you for your phone screen ? I have been wondering when and how the recruiter would reach out. Thanks

Hey when did you apply? And when is your screening if you don't mind my asking? I know they said they start the interviews immediately. I applied not long after it opened but I havent heard anything. Has me rly discouraged

Ooo good luck!! A lot of people must have applied because I checked the day after it opened & most units were no longer taking applications 😳🥲 (but maybe that was a glitch? IDK). I interviewed with the NICU & start later this month. I've never felt more comfortable during any of my new grad interviews, & they really do love to hear examples from clinical rotations You're gonna kill it & lemme know if you have any questions 😊

Hi! I know this is an old forum, but I'm applying to Seattle's New Grad Residency for Feb 2025! I'm really interested in working in the NICU and saw that you actually interviewed for the NICU and got the job earlier this year! I was wondering if you had any tips for interviewing, what kinds of questions they asked, and just overall how to be prepared? I'm from the Bay as well, and just hoping this opportunity can be the start of my career. I would appreciate any advice you can give, thank you!

Hey! I applied for feb. too but haven't been contacted for phone screening. Have you heard back from them yet? have they started the interviews?

hi! I applied last month right when it opened and I completed my screening already. I think it is fair to say they might have moved forward with recruiter calls w/ other candidates bc I had the same experience as you last cycle I applied to SCH. you can always apply to future cycles!

I'm not sure if they started interviews but they are doing or are done with their recruiter phone calls I believe

Hi! I have! I had my phone screening on Wednesday and have an interview scheduled for next week. Don't give up just yet, there's still a possibility that they're still sifting through applications!

Hi! I was wondering if anyone that applied last year would be willing to share what the process was like after putting in your application? I'm planning to apply for their August cohort! Thank you.

Hi! New grad here 🙂 I have my NICU interview in a couple weeks and I'm so excited but nervous! I've heard from some people that its the hardest interview they've ever had- But your comment is making me feel more relaxed- I have all the usual interview questions that I;ve been asked before prepared- do you have any advice- was there a question you remember being extra tricky? Hopefully will be working with you soon 🙂
