Seattle Central Winter 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Anyone else applying for the Winter 2017 program at Seattle Central? Just looking for other people (not so) patiently waiting for their acceptance. I'm trying to put off asking when they expect those notifications to go out, but I'm expecting it first week of November.

Good luck if you're out there!

Did you get in?

I did my CNA through Seattle Central and it was a waste of my summer. Do it anywhere else and save your summer for fun.

I graduate in two weeks. This definitely is a disorganized program and you'll learn to accept it if you decide to go here. They've had some staffing changes that will hopefully make things improve over time. Every person I've met who is in nursing school anywhere in Seattle area has complaints. You come out with a nursing degree and that's what matters most.

Get in where you can but if you can, try for Shoreline or Bellevue first.

If you do go, make your classmates your family and build a supportive community. That has made all the difference. Also, working as CNA before school will be an advantage to you in the program.
