Seasonal Jobs in Arizona???

Anyone have any recent experience [good or bad] in seasonal / travel jobs in Arizona. I've been working in Yuma for the last two seasons. The job is great, the people really great, Yuma - well, not so much... Not a bad place...just DUUULLLLLLL.

I like the Arizona climate in the winter. Would love to be in the Flagstaff / Sedona area much more than the Yuma area but the Yuma job is so good that I don't want to give it up unless I'm confident about another place.

Anybody have any Arizona experience that you're willing to share? I sure would appreciate any good advice.

I am a tele nurse looking for same. I only know Epic. I'm looking ahead for next winter season, not this summer.

BTW, if anyone wants info about Yuma, I can help.

Specializes in NP. Former flight, CCU, ED RN and paramedic..

I've spent the last two winters in AZ working ER, worked staff at Flag 12 years ago. Flagstaff always has inhouse seasonal positions, but pay is low, better off going through a travel agency. That said, FMC back then was a great place to work, at least ER and ICU, not sure about tele.

Sedona has a little ER, but no inpatient beds. Also a fun place to work.

VVMC is under the FMC umbrella, and was a great place to work way back when as well.

I know this is an older post, but I will start seasonal employment in Yuma this December and would love if you could tell me a little more about it. Thanks!
