Hi! Wanted to start a discussion page for those who are applying to San Diego State (: Comment below if you're applying!

Same I live about two hours away as well. Are you looking at On campus or off campus housing. ?

Just got an email in regards to the question why it says "Pre-nursing" on our WebPortal.

He said:

I forgot to mention in my previous e-mail that the Office of Admissions codes all Nursing applicants as "Pre-Nursing Pre-Major" for the time being. If you decide to attend SDSU, you major will be changed to Nursing prior to the start of the Fall semester. There is no need to worry about your major reading "Pre-Nursing" at this point in time.

Also, students will be randomly assigned to either Track 1 or Track 2. You assigned track will be provided to you at the summer orientations for Transfer students (facilitated by the University) SDSU Orientation - Spring. Additionally, the School of Nursing will host our own orientation sometime in mid-August. The date/time/location has yet to be determined.

I too look forward to beginning the SDSU Nursing Program this Fall. I can't wait to meet all of you at the Nursing Orientation!

How are you guys gonna do it for those living 1+ hours away? Living on campus is so expensive :( wondering if some of you are looking into apartments and looking for some roommates!

Im looking to rent a room or get an apartment with someone... not on campus because I have a cat and they don't allow pets :(

Yeah, I am coming from a 1+ hour away myself. So far, I haven't thought too much about the living situation :/. Probably an error on my part :). However, I will keep you posted. Hopefully, we get the same track.
