SDSU BSN Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone! Thought I would start a post/discussion for this year's Fall applicants... Please comment below if you are applying!! :) Let's support one another through this.

Has anyone received any other email from Jason Ramirez? The last email I received was a confirmation saying they received my TEAS test score. The email said he was going to send additional information about the BSN program the second or third week of May. I haven't received any other email yet. I wanted to know if anyone else had

No email from Jason Ramirez here either!

I emailed the nursing department and they say he is on vacation, hopefully, will be back by the end of May?

I received an email from Jason last week saying he will follow up with our class schedule within the two weeks! I'm so excited í ½í¸

Are your registration dates the same as your orientation date? Because mine are different and I thought we would be able to register for classes on our orientation

Is this the email you received from Jason: Dear Fall 2018 Admit

I would like to extend my congratulations to you all on your offer of admission to the SDSU School of Nursing! We are currently finalizing the admission cycle for fall 2018.

The orientation date is different for everyone, mine is August 3. You have to register for the WPA test too. I did the test today. I think, we will be able to register for normal classes after the Orientation day. I am not sure, but the nursing classes will be pre-assigned to us.

Hello all! I plan on applying this fall and was wondering if the 100 hours of paid work for the extra points on the application must be done by October, or do you have until January when the supplemental application is due? Thank you for reading this

Hi @emily234! I will also be applying to SDSU's BSN program for Fall 2019 admission! From what I've been told, you will not need proof of the 100 hours of paid work experience until January.

What I've been told is: After the October 1-November 30 application period, I believe they check if you are CSU eligible and if you meet the requirements for the degree program you apply to. In January, they will ask for your supplemental application, TEAS score, work experience, etc. After January, the School of Nursing decides if you will be offered admission or not based on the number of points you accumulate.

Hope this helps!

What seemed to be the cut off for Fall 2018 points wise?

Hello you guys! I had a question- I just applied for Fall 2019 and was wondering if I got a B in my current class, which is political science, and this would lower my GPA slightly, would that affect my admission?

Can I ask how you all like it so far??
