Scrub pants with longer inseam

Published

maybe i'm picky  , but i'd like to be comfortable

i'm used to wearing 34-35" lowrise bootcut jeans or pj pants, but i'll obviously have to switch to scrubs for nursing. for clinicals (sat & sundays) while in school i need white scrubs, i got so i got 2 basic pairs at walmart for almost $15 each. but once i start working i'll want colored scrubs with more pockets, they also need to have a longer inseam than most, but i don't want them draging on the floor either so 32 or 33" will do - 30-31 just doesn't cut it (i'm all legs acording to my bf lol). do they shrink after the first wash? i'd also like flair/bootcut or straight leg (can't stand pants sticking to my ankles or highwaters) with cargo pockets (cause you can never have enough), and are there any pants that sit on the hips rather than the waist - it's so uncomfortable for someone who's not used to it. anyone know where i can find these online? i'd hate to be picking and pulling my pants all day becuase i'm uncomfortable. i also like long shirts, that cover all (or most of) the butt - i usually wear guys t-shirts (girls tees are too short in the torso and arms and too tight for me to be comfortable... but i also like a shirts/tank tops, even though they're tight fitted... guess i'm just wierd), but i'm sure shirts are much easier to find, the two i got from walmart (colored, vnecks with 3 pokets) seem just fine and they were almost $15 each too.

Landau offers pants in "tall"....In most colors.

Dickies sells low rise and flare scrubs, but I don't know about the longer inseam. I usually get my "talls" from Landau.

Sounds like our legs are about the same length. ;) The large size/regular length Landau pants fit me in length, but are too big overall. The medium size/regular length Landau pants are too short. When I order the mediums in tall size, they're a bit too long and I have to have them hemmed.

Gap and Old Navy have some longer waisted and longer sleeved knit shirts too, although I don't remember exactly which style off the top of my head.

I think large might be too big, i'm averaged sized (5'8" 140lbs) but thanks for all the advice

I might have to check out these Landau talls myself.. I'm 6'3" and finding pants long enough is quite a task, that's for sure :p

i found the perfect scrub pants for me. i'm 5'8" but like my pants plenty long. they are dickies brand, low rise(just below the belly button), fitting down the leg and then flare with a slit at the bottom. they are the softest material and come in several colors. i think i've ordered 12 pair all different colors. cost is 19.99.

i'm not sure if i'm allowed to post the website. better check the tos first.

oh, and they have elastic in the back and drawstring front to adjust for comfort. i've been waiting to find just this type of scrub pant.

Are they normally long, or do you have to get them in tall? Do you know how long the inseam is? I looooooooove long scrubs, hehe. :D

i bought them in tall. the catalog doesn't specify the length of the inseam. these are the only ones i have found that look like i want them to and are available in tall.
