Scripps new grad program summer 2013

Thought I would post another thread on here for the scripps new grad program starting this summer as applications are open for internals and soon will open for externals. I myself am an internal, applied Monday, and have an interview already set for May 7th... Good luck to all!!!

Mine submitted fine, but I didn't get the "simulation questions" that a previous poster was talking about.

ExPhamaGirl - I didn't get the sim questions either. I am totally wired from frantically completing the supplemental questions. I feel like I've had 10 cups of coffee! Good luck everyone. :) This job hunt stuff is so tough!

I didn't get the talent mine or SIM questions either. Maybe that was just for internal applicants?

That's weird you guys didn't get the SIM or talentmine questions? I'm an external candidate and had to complete that. The only explanation is if you completed a Scripps application recently and already did the talentmine, they will not require you to do it again. As for the "timing out" just keep trying to submit it until it finally works. Happened to me a few times too and eventually it will submit it.

i got both and the simulation is taking forever and i'm scared im not going to be in teh first 500 people

Oh I see! I applied last round maybe that's why I didn't get the sim.

Yup! That is definitely why you didn't get the talentmine again so no worries for you :)

I'm pretty sure everyone has to do the talentmine and sim questions. I encountered a number of set backs during the app process in which it was unclear whether it was submitted or not and I ended up having to log back in and fill out my questions all over again- luckily I had copied and pasted my answers to the supplemental questions into a word doc- I would highly suggest this otherwise you might have to start all over at any point, which of course is extremely frustrating and time consuming.

If you did not get the talentmine or sim, I'd take steps to get them...log back in and make sure your app was actually submitted, call HR or whatever. But I'm pretty sure you have to do these things.
