U.S.A. California

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has applied to the Scripps new grad program for October and if they got the self-paced interview? I was wondering if someone did it what questions did they ask?

Does anyone on this thread know what color scrubs we should get if we are starting the program in October? I’ve heard people say the color doesn’t matter but I just wanted to make sure.

You are allowed to wear whatever you like at Scripps!

Has anyone found out from La Jolla yet? I still have heard nothing!

I haven’t heard of anyone hearing from them but I haven’t asked. I’m Chula.

That’s nice to know! I know someone that got a rejection a few weeks ago but I haven’t heard either way! I was like did they forget about me!!

I received an offer for Green. Anybody also going to be at Green MedOnc?

I heard it’s a very demanding unit and that Scripps is not a very supportive new grad program. Have you heard any different? I am worried now.

I have heard the same thing. High turnover, very demanding, lack of support. I heard from another nurse who did her residency there that her friend is currently completing a new grad with Scripps and they’re basically telling her to quit and she should find a new career. Seriously considering declining my offer now.

Yep. And my interview was cold and unwelcoming so I’m surprised I got an offer at all. My friend said staff is quick to criticize and reprimand new grads who are simply learning.

My meeting with my recruiter was AWFUL. She was extremely patronizing and cold.

I haven’t heard anything specific about that location or unit. But I have heard from a couple of people that work at the Chula location now and that went through the new grad program with Scripps, that the program is very supportive. So I am surprised to hear this.

Has anyone had to take the tele test? I am trying to prepare for it and feel overwhelmed
