Scottsdale CC Block 2 Topics

Hello there!!

I will be entering Block 2 of the Scottsdale Comm. College Nursing program and was wondering if any previous students can give me a good idea of what was covered and/or the foci of the block? I will be preparing for block 2 over the summer, by studying as much as I can but I am at a loss as I'm not sure what I should focus on. Any previous block 2 SCC students please reach out to me!

Block 2 is Med/Surg 1 and Psych. I would just look over fluid and electrolytes, as well as anatomy and physiology. I don't have any tips for Psych, but it was really easy. The drugs are the hard part, but YouTube has good videos that explain them.

Not from SCC but block 2 will cover cardiac, operative, fluid and electrolytes, acid base, and psych. Good luck :)
