We didn't have a non-science majors A&P class. There is a SCIT class that is not suppose to transfer to most universities.
The only difference I noticed in the two is the BIOL 2402 had a pre-req, is transferable, and is considered a sophomore level course.
The SCIT does not have pre-reqs, is not transferable to some universities, is a freshman level course, but did basically the same thing.
My A&P 1 was a separate class, but for my A&P 2 class, they lab was mixed. We had to do research papers for 5 points each, the SCIT had 5 points just given to them.
If yours is anything like the SCIT, I wouldn't worry about it. (My Microbiology was a non-science major class.) Just ask and advisor for your nursing program.
Good luck :)
Moved from introductions...I took non-science major API & APII. I'm wondering now if I really made the wrong choice by taking those classes.
Are the science major classes that much better? A friend of mine was talking about her science major AP class and I was shocked. They were very detailed.
If you don't mind, please let me know what you took and whether or not you feel prepared to enter nursing school, or the nursing world once you've graduated.
Thanks!!

I took the non-science major A&P and Micro. I am planning to attend TWU and they will accept them.
Good luck!
