Science courses

I plan on applying to 2 different nursing schools, and they have a few different requirements. One of the schools requires about 20 more pre-req credit hours than the other. Anyways, my main problems are A&P II, Micro, and Pathophysiology. Both schools require A&P I, A&P II, and Micro, but the other school requires Patho as well. I'm taking A&P I Spring semester, and I planned on taking A&P II summer semester, then taking Micro Fall semester when I put my application in for nursing school. My school, however, requires you take micro before patho, and I'm applying Spring 2015. What would be a good way to knock these 3 classes out with just summer semester and fall semester? I know they are a LOT of work and it's a lot to learn, but I can't push my application back another semester. I was told to go ahead and take A&P II for one part of summer, then take Micro the second part(NOT together), then do patho alone in the fall. I was told if you do that, you need to keep ALL of the notes and info you get so you can review them because summer is so fast paced and everything. It'll also be challenging because I need to take the HESI at least once this summer. Thanks for your help!

I say apply to the school without patho. Take patho while you are waiting to hear back. If you get in great if not apply to the other school after you finish patho.

I have not had to take patho. I am unsure if it is part of the program. I looked at the semester layout, and no mention of patho.

In my BSN program, patho is part of the nursing courses and I take it my first semester, spring! :) however, my friend took micro and patho together and did well. I took A&P II with chem and micro with bio. I'm sure either combo is fine, but will also require a lot of time and dedication. Good luck!
