I don't know of any specifically that don't average retaken grades, but I do know that a lot of them don't just consider College Algebra, they can also consider Math Modeling or some other class like it. I know KSU requires you to take Math Modeling and Stats, and I'm pretty sure GHC will take any of 3 different maths (algebra, math modeling, etc). Good luck!
Thank you PreRN Katie,
I am trying to get into an ADN program and I just don't want my old grades to hurt me. I am trying to think of all of my options. I live in Lithonia and I know there are a lot of schools near me, but I want to be as competitive as possible. I think North Georgia College and State University takes the highest grade. I have heard good things about their program. Gainesville wouldn't be too far away. I am willing to go just about anywhere.

I have been racking my brain on how I can get myself into nursing school, but I keep running into the same problem over and over again.
I made a low grade in a math class (college algebra) and I have taken it three times to get a passing grade. This was eight years ago! Anyway, as you all know this class is a prerequisite course for most RN nursing programs in Georgia. Is there any school out there that takes the highest grade that you make in a course or the most recent grade that you've made in the course without averaging all of the attempts? If anyone can tell me of such a school in Georgia, it would be the answer to my prayers. Thanks
