Schoolcraft Nursing Students- Fall 2011!

Hi everyone!!!

I'm starting Nursing School at Schoolcraft this coming Fall 2011 and wanted to see if anyone else on here was starting this Fall with me! I'm so excited to finally start the program after 2 years on the waiting list. Are you guys excited or what?!?!? :jester:

JPride - I was told today that I should receive a nursing information packet within the next month from the nursing department. I emailed ----, the Student Recruitment Specialist Schoolcraft College at Schoolcraft to find out. Her information is on your letter sent with the status confirmation form if you want to email her.

Thanks. I was beginning to worry. I'm so excited to get started. I purchased a book called Fundamentals Success by Patricia Nugent. it's supposed to prepare you for Fundamentals. I figured I would read this. i want to read supplemental material before starting. A lot of people who reviewed the book gave it five stars, and they said to read it before you start the program.

I am in the informatics class now and will take pharm in the spring. I talked to the nursing department and they are getting ready to send the paper work out. They said to call if we don't receive paper work by the 2nd of April.

Yeah! We are finally starting. Looking forward to meeting you guys and spending the next two years. Together.

Hey fellow SC students... I will also be starting the Fall2011 program, I am so excited... I got my letter last week stating I had been bumped up from Fall2012. I could barely sleep that night, I was thinking I gottah get my ducks in a row... time management is going to be crucial, since I can "NOT" afford not working while in the program. I am sooooooooo excited! I plan to take Nursing Informatics this spring or summer... I dont think I want to try to take Pharm in a 7weeker... not even going to try to put that pressure on my self and work. LOL.... I cant wait to meet you all, this is such a BIG Deal!!! OK im rambling... keep in touch guys!!!

Congrats on getting bumped up! You are so lucky! Just FYI they are now offering Pharm as a 12 week session from May-August. Hopefully those extra 5 weeks will help us all out! I couldn't imagine taking it in only 7 weeks.

Hi Guys!

I am taking nursing Informatics right now and taking pharmacy in he spring. So far off to a good start! Did you guys get your paper work yet regarding fall info? Background checks, etc?

I haven't received my paperwork yet, but was told I should get everything in the mail by April 2nd.

I havent recieved the packet yet either... I just got my "Bumped Up" letter last week. The letter says it will come soon.
