Did anyone take the video distance intro psy class at Schoolcraft? I wanted to find out what the tests were like.

I just took the Child Psychology class on-line this spring. It was great, I finished the whole class in under three weeks, as you can work at your own pace. I'll imagine the beginning psyche class is similar. My instructor (though I only saw her once) was Colleen Pilgrim, and I liked the way she structured the work. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I wanted to take the online version but could not get in and she would not do an override
I am taking the video version. It seems like a lot of busy work and tons of info to cover. I just wonder what the test will be like.
You must be taking the video class right now during summer session then? With Hoffmann? I don't know anything about him/her, so I'm not able to advise about tests. When it comes time for the child psyche class, however, I would definitely recommend the on-line version with Dr. Pilgrim. I thought it was incredibly easy and I liked working ahead if I wanted to. Have you been accepted into the nursing program yet? I start Fall 2005. Was hoping for this coming fall, but the waiting list was too long. It'll give me a whole year to knock-off Anatomy II and Microbiology though. Have you taken either of those yet?
Thanks for the info :)
After this semester I will be finished with all my prerequisites. I got into Madonna and am in the process of applying to Oakland University. I would prefer to go to Oakland's program becuase it will only be 1 year.
I really did not want to do the video psy but had to get it done. I take the first test tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed for me! :chuckle
Are you getting a second degree? I already have a BA in journalism, and have applied to Wayne State and U of M's accelerated second degree programs. But I think I'll stay at Schoolcraft for the ADN instead. I'm 48 and really don't think I need another bachelor's at this point in my life.
Good luck on your test tomorrow!
Yep I am going for a second degree. I am in my early 30's so I figured I should get the BSN. I applied to Wayne for this fall but was denied. I found out I was just on the cusp of getting in. They say you one will need a 3.7 to get in next year! I think they also cut the number of students they accepted this year. The went down from 60 or 70 to under 50.
I live in this area and the commute to AA would be too much on me and my family. I heard about OU's program a month ago and decided to apply. They would not take my intro psy class and joined the class at Schoolcraft.
Thanks for the best wishes on my test tomorrow!
