out of school for 10yrs - which accelerated bsn school?

Published

i have been out of school for over 10 years and i want to go back school to get my rn license and would prefer to do so in an accelerated program, but many of the schools require science classes to be within 5 -10 years. anyone have school suggestions?

any help will be very appreciated!

msxyz, I am in the same boat you were in last year. So please let me know if you found any schools? Andy advice is appreciated

Thank you

hi verano05,

i actually did find some schools. the schools i got letters from were missouri, stony brook and kent state. i accepted at kent state b/c it was the closest to my home town (still 6 hours away though). i am in the first semester and everyone associated with the program has been over the top, so i feel i made an excellent choice. i can tell you with kent they have expanded their program and are now taking 30 students three times a year - aug, may, and jan.

i was also working on applications for villanova and oklahoma city univ so you may want to check them out as well.

if you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me another message.

good luck!
