school troubles

I have been having so much trouble with school lately! I am not even in nursing school yet and I'm doing bad on generals! I am a freshman and it is only my first semester and I think I'll have to re-take my math and biology classes. I don't know what's wrong with me but I can't understand them, especially math. I really love algebra but probability and statistics don't make sense to me. I pay for ALL school finances myself so I think I just wasted 1,000 dollars of my hard earned money. :zzzzz I am beginning to re-evaluate my capability of being a nurse and would appreciate any advice as to what to do.
