I just applied for a substitute school nurse position!!

I am an LPN in Florida and am in school for my RN. I eventually want to be a school nurse. I was looking online and apparantely the school district in my county hires LPN for substitute school nurses. I put in my application and am hoping for the best. I thik it will be great experience!

Good luck to you ! Becoming a school nures sub is a great way to get your

"foot in the door". Be the best sub you can be and they will remember you when it comes hiring time. You will love subbing too because you will not be needing to do the same day to day things the regular nurse does ie. paperwork, filing, screening. Mostly just tending to the sick, injured students and meds for the most part. It will be a good experience for you.
