High School football player dies of apparent asthma attack

Thanks for sharing. I do not know what the details of this story are and I am not placing blame on the coach. However, in my district, coaches seem to have no training whatsover in handling medical situations and often push their players very hard. I always tried to work with my coaches and do as much teaching as possible when i was at a middle school. I had the athletic director at the school tell me that he didn't care who had what - that wasn't his job. Hmmmm......health and safety of the children in your care is NOT your job????
