School Nurse

School Nurses make an impact that may last for a lifetime. I had a sarcoma tumor in my left wrist when I was 15. I went through surgery an radiation. There were minor complications and the school nurse was very supportive. I am now age 63 and still remember her name and voice. So I guess this post is to say thank you to all the school nurses.

You're welcome! :)

My first school nurse had coiffed hair and wore a cap. She was an imposing "handsome" woman who scared the living you know what out of me. I had recurrent ear infections and I hated to go to her. Her red lipstick scared me.
