Is anyone has expericed apply to Florida board nursing for RN licence through examination? I am graduated from Indonesia nursing school.
TOEFL and CES through CGFNS has sent to Florida board but it say my clinical school credit not enough for Florida board requirements. It says in CES.
I am waiting for Florida board decision. So scared that I am not eligible to take NCLEX-RN.
Does the board consider my 10 years experience in the past working in Singapore to cover my lacking clinical hour in nursing school? Or they won't bother about that?
do you think I have to go back to school again or try to find the course to cover my clinical?
Full of uncertainty here? Really need information. Any comment or suggestions what should I do? Thanks

Work experience is generally not a substitute for clinical experience. In the past FLBoN gave the nurse a plan of action how to meet the requirements unless the education was very low compared to US standards
Thanks for your comment. Actually I was doubt that the credentials agency made mistakes with counting my credit because some courses did not included in the subject. I even don't know how they determine the calculations.
So the worse scenario, if I am not eligible to take NCLEX-RN, the flbon will guide me and suggest me what to do next right, until I will be eligible to take the exam.

that is what occurred in the past, but no guarantee of what will occur now or in the future
Thank you for the information.
