Hello!
Haven't seen a thread for Sac City's Fall 2020/Spring 2021 nursing application yet and thought I should create one. Good luck everyone! ?

Awesome..ARC is making a lot if progress. SCC typical doesn't change status to qualified. They only update to received and then final status post lottery. I think both schools are trying to be done within the first half of March. Based on ARC's pace they may be done next week.
Update from ARC:
Dear Fall 2020 Nursing Program Applicant,
Due to the impact of COVID-19, the selection of the Fall 2020 cohort has been delayed until January 2021. Please see below for details.
Application status update - on or before June 1, 2020
Class selection - September 1, 2020 (selected, alternate, and students that are not selected will all be notified)
Cohort start date - January 2021
If you no longer wish to be included in the selection for the January 2021 cohort, please let us know.
We appreciate your patience as we navigate this unprecedented time.

Did you receive this info as an email? This is so sad.

Yes, an email about 5 minutes before I posted it.

Sac City sent an email that they will notify by the 1st or 2nd week of May. It's my understanding that they are proceeding as normal. ?

Has anyone asked SCC? Oh wait we got an email from them. OK well fingers crossed. My gosh this is just gut wrenching.

Yeah hopefully their email stays true and we do find out soon. It totally is. I don't mind not starting until January, but waiting until September to even find out is what gets me.

Exactly. It was already hard to make life plans when we had to wait until May, but now it's worse. I agree, start us in January, but let us know now if we got accepted or not, because if I'm not getting in, I need to make other plans.

Yes! It will be 7 months from when I initially applied come September. I understand things happen and this is in no way in their control, but asking us to wait an additional 18 weeks is a lot. Especially when the initial wait period was supposed to only be 6-8 weeks. I guess I'll just put ARC on the backburner for now and hope I get in elsewhere before then.
