Scarlet fever

Hi folks!This week I have two students diagnosed with scarlet fever. Everyday for 3days now I check the whole class' temperature and symptoms for scarlet fever. Then today another student was out, mom's observing for any s/s at home other than fever.My question is, if there are more than 2 or 3 students with scarlet fever in the same class, what would you do or what's your school policy? In our school, the policy is only to check and monitor students for signs and symptoms however, today I was approach by the school coordinator asking what I would recommend. Students age are 6-7 years old.

I would seek some guidance/assistance from my local Health Department. I assume you have already sent an alert to all parents with s/s to watch for.
