Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone has heard any numbers of applicants for SC4's RN program for Fall 2008.
Also wondering if anyone knows what the lowest combo of HESI GPA accepeted last year was.
I know they stuck a new pre req. in so that may have weeded a few out.
Any info would be great.
THANKS!!!

Are you waiting to hear if you are getting in? When I met with the counselor she told me that acceptance all depends on how many prerequisites you have completed. They say you have to have A&P1, Psychology and the HE class but they give extra points to students who have completed more classes. I am transferring A&P 1&2, and Psychology and English. She told me that they accepted someone last year who had the same amount of classes transferred, had a 3.7 and scored a 90% on the Hesi. I hope this helps, I know its a little confusing.
Thanks for the info.
I am asking for my girlfriend. I just graduated from Bay college, and LSSU with enviornmental and water resource MNGT degrees.
When I transferred credits out of SC4, or for any college GPA doesnt transfer, so how do they determine that for nursing??
Anyways, I dont know where she stands. She has every Pre Req completed and has a GPA of only 3.2
Shes completed A&P 1, A&P 2, Health Care Delivery Systems, Political Science, Introduction to Psychology, Life Span Development Psychology, English Composition II, and English Composition I.
And only scored an 86 on her HESI exam.
Based on her completing of Pre Reqs, GPA, and HESI, what do you think her odds are? Im sick of hearing her worry. Even though from what I read her GPA and Hesi is kind of low for acceptance. But she does have every Pre Req completed. She's switched from teaching to nursing...
Thanks, Brian
Judging from what my counselor told me I would say she has an excellent chance. Having all of the prerequisites is definitely in her favor. I also scored an 86% on the Hesi. It all depends on how well this group did on the test, but the counselor seemed to think I had a shot at getting in and I only have 3 prerequs. done. Good Luck!
If you don't mind me asking what's your GPA?
do you know when they will be sending out acceptance letters?
according to the evolve site the average for that dates test were not that high. with an average of 80.
i've attached them for others who are wondering.

Other good news for those interested:
Only 400 applicable registars have applied at SC4 for this fall.
If you don't mind me asking what's your GPA?Thanks, Brian
My GPA is a 4.0 but I didn't realize until you told me that GPA's don't transfer. I haven't had any classes at SC4, I transferred everything.
Wow! 400 people. Hopefully we hear soon about acceptance.
Talked to an advisor, and they said letters will be going out late March Early April.
So you all get to lose sleep a little bit longer:yawn:
LOL, I feel bad for you guys. Glad my programs didn't have a wait list.
Oh yah I talked to an advisor, and he said that there is only slightly over 300 applicable registered students.
So don't lose TOO MUCH sleep!!
