Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else is applying to the San Bernardino Valley College Nursing program for Fall 2022. The application period just opened up 03/15/22 so I want to use this as a tracking board for any updates about this program application period ?

Saaaame! So you haven’t taken it at all? Bcus I took it this Spring so in was in progress when I turned in the application so I thought they let me slide?
@SushiMay22 I applied to the ADN only program and haven’t heard back yet. It’s gotta be tomorrow unless they are going to make us wait until the 17th.
I applied with a 39, got an 86.7 on TEAS which brought me to 74. Hope this helps! And good luck to everyone!
@CinVela no, I’ve only taken general chem. I was originally going to apply to both ADN & the BSN, however, when I came across the BSN checklist, I decided to opt out since I haven’t taken bio/organic chem. A week later, Sbvc emails me & mentions that I am eligible to apply to the concurrent program & if I wish to do so, to reply to the email within a week. So I did & got accepted? I’m hoping this wasn’t a mistake on their end?
@SushiMay22Dang I would have applied to the concurrent program but I was missing a class I did not even know it was a thing =( sorry guys I do not know how to reply to messages but I applied with 77 points I didn't do as well on the TEAS as I thought....I procrastinated and thought I would have time to study. I had 42 points before and got an 85.3 on the TEAS. Hope that helps!

@Alyt68 It seems like the ADN program has been left for last as far as emailing us, the pool of applicants, with an answer ? Everyone else seems to be well and prepared for orientation on 05/27 ?
Also, congratulations you got maximum points for TEAS ?
Meanwhile Monday can’t come fast enough ?

@AngelaA Maybe there is still a chance you’ll never know unless you try: If tomorrow you call (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) to verify what are your chances, if possible, to still apply/change to ADN to BSN CEP Program ? Also, you did good on the TEAS ?
Here or at another school we will become nurses.
My back up plan is to also apply to RCC for their July-August application open window.
I continue to study in case I go that route and re-take TEAS, since ATI is changing from TEAS 6th edition to 7th as of June 2022 ?aiming for maximum points. I messed up this time, uggh !
Bright side is we are almost there…
… last weekend of uncertainty
Fingers crossed ?

@Kcastro23 My understanding is that once you pass a course even with a C you cannot re-take that course at Valley. However, you may take that same course at another college or university.
I highly suggest you speak with your academic counselor at SBVC.
? Best wishes
