Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else is applying to the San Bernardino Valley College Nursing program for Fall 2022. The application period just opened up 03/15/22 so I want to use this as a tracking board for any updates about this program application period ?

You should study and retake it ? I got an email too it’s my first time taking it I did a practice one and got a 77?
I would if I could! But I think they only accept your first passing score within the year. So I would have to wait? I was sooo confused because I got decent scores on the practice tests but when it came to the real one I got the lowest of them all? I’m just going to wait patiently and hope I get in? Did you guys apply anywhere else?

I didn’t yet but I’m take a few more classes that I need to qualify for CSUSB so that’s my plan B if I don’t make it ?

I already got accepted to CSUSB though but kind of like the idea of SBVC because then I could graduate debt free. Wish I knew what the schedule was like and what clinical sites each had so I can weigh the pros and cons.
That is awesome! Congratulations for getting into CSUSB.
Yeah, if I had to choose, I would do the BSN instead of the ADN. Just get it done!
I’m not too sure of their clinical rotations unfortunately.
I still haven’t heard back from SBVC. I checked my emails and didn’t receive anything. I’m wondering if they will be emailing LVN to RN bridge in the next few days.

Saaame! I also applied at Chaffey, I’m an alternate there. Yes let’s pray??

You did so good on the TEAS! Did you apply to both the ADN and new BSN? And how many points overall do you have if you don't mind me asking?

Chaffey has different requirements right? I did my pre reqs at MSJC. So I don't think I could apply. Are you an alternate for there regular program or the new one? Thats good!
At least at the bottom of that email they said we should know by May 17. Thats pretty early on compared to most schools telling me until June.

I’m an alternate for their Fall 2022 ADN program. The acceptances have til this Friday to accept or decline their admission? I’m not quite sure. I did all prerequisites at Chaffey & with that, my counselor said I was able to apply there, Valley, RCC, San Jacinto, Victor Valley, & Pasadena. For Mt Sac I’m missing a communication course. But for Chaffey, you need math 401 to apply to their ADN program which I believe is dosage calculations.
