Hello everyone. I am applying for San Bernardino Valley College in Fall 2019. I just want to know who are in the same boat. Let's chat and get to know each other. Thank you. Good luck all

I believe RCC has the RN-BSN agreement with CSUF so that's something consider. Otherwise, if you live near SB College, I would stay put for the sake of commute times (lectures, clinicals, study groups, etc.,.). Doesn't seem like much now but it will be less stress in the long run.

Yes I was thinking that too, students who go to valley would be local. I got in the adn program, not the RN-BSN. I keep getting mixed feelings about how RCC is a much bigger program and it’s equipment. You made a very good point about study groups I didn’t even think of that.

I agree with location. I live in Highland so Valley is the best choice because Riverside isn’t close, plus the 215 fwy is the worst. So if clinical is at 6:30am imagine how early u would have to leave?! I also got the acceptance letter from RCC, but I have already accepted Valley. Valley has a contract with APU to jump start BSN in the summers and finish ur BSN within 2 semesters of ADN. U also get 10% off as a Valley student. Both programs r great, it’s really up to u and ur situation. Ohhhh RCC also has the worst parking!! ?

I'd go with RCC, better NCLEX scores means better preparation.

Yes I was just checking their NCLEX passing rate. Rcc has amazing percentile. I think commute is something that would be a sacrifice to get something better.

It’s something to think about. I am missing a class or else I would have applied at RCC as well. RCC is a very reputable school and a little sacrifice will probably worth it in the end. goodluck on your decision! ?
