so i thought, why not ask those people who already had a FEEL of NCLEX?
here is my share. (i'm yet to take the big test but at least this is what i found from other threads)
- NCLEX mostly use only BRAND NAMES for drugs. thus, the reason why everyone pretty much say they come from planet PLuto; also these are the ones that you mostly see in your regular TV commercials.
- the questions are simple, in a way that they use one sentence and one word answer choices.
( unlike the killer Kaplan).
- study INFECTION CONTROL (i honestly printed the infection control facts from CDC)
-NCLEX has a lot of prioritization. Use La Charity.
what are your thoughts? (nclex passers and non-passers who took it).:redbeathe
thanks for all your response. i understand this is WAY overdue, but this is just an update and i wanted to let you know i passed =) i took the test August 2nd, and passed with 75 questions on the first try. i was beyond blessed.
all i can say is that it was not the monster test we all expected. it was fairly easy but i wouldn't assume it to be the same thing for everyone, since it is a CAT system. also i want to add, to not let others make you feel down. i just realized some here can give you "inappropriate" responses, and that it is not necessarily what they could have said. they could have made things lighter for people by being "honest" but not torturing others because of their "honesty." i even read on on of the threads about someone getting a 99% on one of the trainers, and her response to many (on different threads) was almost always awkward.
so now you get my point. it's okay to feel down but always use it as your strength. don't think about others, think about yourself only and who you are doing the NCLEX for. gooduck to everyone! =)
