I use my Saunders a lot. I like the questions; they're not as ambiguous as Kaplan questions. I do very well on Saunders, 85%-90% in all content areas. But on Kaplan, my scores average about 68%. I would much rather study for NCLEX using Saunders because the rationales are fabulous; whereas, Kaplan, the rationales are okay, but can be just as ambiguous as their questions.
In your opinion, which is a better predictor for NCLEX success? And which do you think is a better tool to use to help pass the NCLEX?

i agree with you as far as the rationales on saunders being more detailed as oppose to kaplan, however, i also think kaplan questions are more on the higher level and more challenging. kaplan questions can be a bit ambiguous but they also make you critically think and in turn better prepare you for nclex. (in my opinion)
on the contrary, both resources used together will definitely be useful for you to succeed. i'm using both and it works for me so hopefully this will help you as well.
