Stars that is odd behavior, but who knows what triggered it

NJ22 I had popcorn last night too

Tweety hope the next shift is less crazy

Did went out yesterday to do some more bird watching, didn't see much in the way of birds but did get a nice long walk in 2 of my usual locations.  And the weather was nice too, cool but not too cool

Went to a favorite Thai restaurant, stopped a local bakery, and then relaxed the rest of the day.  Tried to watch Arsenic and Old Lace but Carey Grant was a little too over the top, so watched a Japanese monster movie instead

Today it's raining this morning so no bird watching today.  Will skip my nephew's concert tonight as it's going to rain then too and it's an outdoor concert.  Will meet dad for lunch as usual

Will rain for much of the day and will get up to the low 70s

Good morning!

It seems our rainy season has ended and we could use some rain.  According to the drought map we are "abnormally dry" but not in a drought state as we had a decent rainy reason.  It's all good just have to ride out the rest of hurricane season.

Best friend is coming over to watch some TV and have dinner tonight.  We're having steak.  I recently read steak is going through inflation right now along with coffee and chocolate.  The coffee and the chocolate bother me as I eat and drink that frequently. While being sick I started to add some animal protein in my diet to see how that might affect me in the gym or overall.  Doubtful it will make a difference.  I still go many days in a row eating only vegan and plant based eating will be my focus.  I think it's called "flexitarian" but I don't label myself as anything and haven't for a while.

Since I overshare, I starting to get hopeful again my body is healing myself. I'm certainly not "normal" but much better than even last week.  But I've relapsed and been let down before but I can't help but be hopeful because I just have to be, especially since my 4th test came up negative for infection finally.  I just passed the three-month mark since I first started noticing symptoms.

Anyway, hope everyone has a good day.

It is Saturday. I am going to attempt to stay detached from the volcano(s) in my head today.

It's cool and cloudy, 44 degrees with a chance of rain, so no painting today. Dh and eldest son had a great time last night watching the Mariner game.
We were going to drop off the trailer at the storage place today, but I'm going to the rally at midday and it will take 3 of us to get the cover on. I also want to lift some flower bulbs for Winter storage, but not if it raining.
The stellar jays have been visiting the yard, I suspect they are checking for sunflower seeds. And I've been hearing flocks of geese honking as they fly over. The leaves are coloring up nicely.

No leaf color here, or barely any, because we are still having summertime temps.

I emptied, cleaned and fixed both vacuum cleaners this afternoon. [It wasn't me who filled them with dirt and hair, clogging up EVERYTHING.] I put the hose back on correctly, that someone had put on backwards (Not *I*, ....said the little red hen.🐔) Neither of the vacs functioned as they should, so I investigated them, and removed all the hair and stuff that had wrapped up around all the things that are supposed to roll, but wouldn't, and were supposed to suck but were prevented from doing so. SMH.

Supper is over. Nannie wouldn't eat her mashed potatoes because they "looked funny", whatever THAT means! Two hours until I put her to bed.
