Good morning!
Joe, sounds like your social calendar is full these days. Enjoy.
I made some "garlic infused olive oil" which is allowed on the FODMAP. I got some bread that's allowed that I found at Sprouts but was very expensive. Sprouts just opened near me and I was very impressed with the wide variety of good there. But it's way too pricey for me and I got just a few things.
J22, I am missing onions, garlic, legumes and whole wheat products the most. These are staple foods to me. I don't eat dairy much so not missing that. But if it tames down my gut enough to be able to go back and eat those things I'm all for it.
Otherwise, not a whole lot going on around here and will lay low.
Had to take an extra 1/2 Xanax last night and boy-oh-boy did I ever sleep! Turned my light out at 1 AM, then I woke up at 7:30 AM and took my meds and went right back to sleep, waking up at 12:40 PM. Then I had to get the Nannie-person up and dressed and breakfasted with meds. Then I fed and walked Tinker, but only in the back yard, as my hips are complaining. I'm going to have to load Nannie in the car for a run to Harris-Teeter for dogfood and treats. She will just get to sit in the car, as I am not dragging her through the store. I will have to make it a quick zoom through the store, or as quick as I can with these aching hips.
Of course I wonder how the pregnant passenger in the car I rear-ended is doing. No way to find out, though. I was only maybe 6 inches from the back of the car when I stepped on the gas instead of the brakes, so while it was a big THUD, I don't know that it was damaging to her, unless she had her seat belt ON her belly instead of over or under it. Anyway, were it not for the fact she's preggers, I wouldn't worry as much. My nightmare would happen if she had a bad physical problem from the accident, or decided to say she did. I hate to sound so dubious, but I am slightly worried that she and her family, friends, etc, decided it would be a good excuse to sue, But the EMT's were very thorough in checking her out, so here's hoping she is okay and they don't want to blame me for anything.
My sister just sent me a text that my older brother (in Michigan) went into the hospital again. She said he said he would call her after he is assessed, and then she'd let the rest of us know,
Okay, time for the trip to Harris-Teeter. Bleh.
Nannie has been asleep in the recliner for over an hour, but she says she is 'not ready' to go to bed yet, when I suggested she might do just that. What is the point of staying up later, while soundly sleeping? You're not missing out on anything important if you are sleeping!
🤔My personal opinion is that she 'stays up' just to bug me,😳
Stars, with no vehicle damage it seems unlikely there would have been enough force to do any harm.
The day I learned I was having twins I was leaving work for my doctor's appointment when a guy pulled out of a parking space and ran into my car. He felt really bad about it, especially when he saw that I was pregnant. (Didn't learn about the twin thing until 25 weeks)
Met my friend D for lunch. It was a beautiful day and when I got home Hubs and I sat outside the rest of the afternoon. We built a fire and roasted hot dogs. Since the time change it seems so late when it gets dark but it isn't late.
Oklahoma beat Alabama, who were ranked #4.

Dianah thanks for sharing the photos
Ado I have some boxes in storage that I know have sat there for years
Stars glad there was no damage from the accident
Tweety glad the diet is going well so far
NJ22 it's good that you're getting help with Thanksgiving
Another good day at work, ended on a fairly quiet note, and nothing unexpected
After work went to my church friend T's house to meet our other church friend D for dinner. He got dumplings and some other dishes from a favorite Chinese place, they are quite good. Was out fairly late
Despite being out late I still got up pretty early today. Will get outside this morning and then have lunch with dad. In the evening will head downtown to go out to dinner with my friend B and listen to a performance by a gay symphonic band
Will be unusually warm today, up to 70
